THE West End Baptist Church is hosting a technology help desk for anyone who needs a helping hand with any troublesome technology.
From Thursday 3rd November the church will be open every Thursday afternoon from 2pm to 4pm for people to drop in for advice and tech help.
The organisers say, “We all have technology: smartphones, tablets, laptops, computers etc. And, from time to time, they can cause us frustration and confusion. They might go wrong, or we just do not understand what to do. Worry no more. Ian McManus from ResurrTECHtion has a plan to help!
“This is not a repair service, so if you have damaged your phone, tablet, computer, we recommend you take it to one of the many local repair shops. Instead, what we offer is friendly advice on how to do things with your smartphone, tablet, laptop or computer. Or to help you overcome a technical difficulty you may be having. For example, setting up your phone to work with a wireless printer or learning how to change the background picture. Or learning how to set your iPhone up with ApplePay or your Android phone with GooglePay. And there are many more things.
“So, if you need some help with your tech, we’re here for you. Just pop in through the big blue doors at the front of West End Baptist Church (next to the Air Cadet Centre on West End), turn to your right and up the stairs and we’ll be waiting for you!
“If you want to contact us via email, please send it to tech@westendbaptist.org.uk. We’ll get back to you as soon as we can.”
