WESTBURY Rugby Club has received a £10,000 donation from The Hills Group towards new changing rooms.
The cheque was presented to club officials last week by Alan Pardoe and Peter Andrew of The Hills Group. The money helped to pay for brand new changing rooms for home and away teams at the ground at White Horse Country Park.
Chair of Westbury RFC, Gareth Vaughan said, “Hills has been a major contributor in improving the facilities at Westbury RFC. The company’s generosity has enabled the club to have new changing rooms which has helped not only our men’s and ladies’ teams but also our growing junior section.
“With the help of Hills we hope the improving facilities will mean Westbury can continue to attract more new players and retain its current ones. As chairman I would personally like to thank Hills for its continued support of Westbury RFC.”

The £10,000 funding boost from The Hills Group was donated through the Landfill Communities Fund (LCF) which is administered for Hills by Community First, the Rural Community Council for Wiltshire.
Alan Pardoe, chairman of The Hills Group said, “Sports clubs are an important part of any community and we are thrilled to be able to support Westbury Rugby Club. We hope all the teams that play there benefit from these new facilities and wish Westbury the best of luck for the season.”
