1st Westbury Scouts are celebrating 100 years of scouting in Westbury, as well as the 100th birthday of Cubs world wide and the 30th birthday of Beaver Scouts in the UK.
Diane Perrett said, “We are trying to update our camping equipment so we can hold a birthday group camp in September.
“As part of the fund raising so we can buy some new tents, we are holding an Easter bingo evening on Saturday 19th March at the Scout HQ in Meadow Lane, Westbury.
“Doors open at 6.30pm and eyes down at 7pm. Coffee, tea and squash will be available but some people can bring their choice of beverage for the evening. This is a light-hearted evening for novices and pros alike and families are welcome.”
