After a successful ‘Clean for the Queen’ last year, Westbury Leigh Primary School was keen to help out with the ‘Spring Clean’ this year.
The school says, “Children from across the school were briefed on how to stay safe, then put their gloves on and got litter pickers at the ready before heading off all around Leigh Park. The enthusiastic teams collected all types of rubbish from within the school grounds and around the local area, eventually filling nearly 30 large bags!
“The children enjoyed working together as a team to help clean up and were fabulous community ambassadors!”
