LIVE music, food, street entertainers, crafts and lots more will be at Westbury’s Street Fayre on Saturday 12th July, followed by live music concerts in the evening.
The fayre will be a summer celebration for the whole family, taking place in Westbury town centre from 10.00am until 4.00pm.
Day activities will include a petting zoo, miniature railway, climbing wall, street entertainers, dog show, children’s rides and inflatables, hog roast, churros and ice cream, craft stalls, local charity stalls, majorettes, pony rides, and a historical walking tour by The Laverton will also be on offer.
In the evening live music will start at 6.00pm until midnight including ‘ABBA Fever’, ‘The Pigeons’, ‘Cydny Mead’, ‘Wildwood Kin’, ‘Lauren Medway’, ‘Frome Street Bandits’, ‘Papa LeGal’, and ‘Para&Baila’. The compere for the evening will be John Monie.
Deputy Mayor, cllr Christine Mitchell said, “There is great community spirit at these events in Westbury with everybody participating together. It is also a great opportunity for the town council to give something back to the community.”
