THE White Horse News ‘Cutest Pet’ competition returned this year, crowning a thirteen-week old Irish Terrier puppy the winner!
Hundreds of votes came in across all entries with the lucky winner of a studio pet photo-shoot from Ginger & Black – a new dedicated photography studio set in the heart of Chapmanslade – was Irish Terrier, Roscoe.
Owned by Leanne Hier and Nathan Collins, Roscoe stole the hearts of the White Horse News readers with his ‘sit pretty’ pose in a bicycle basket gaining him the winning votes.
Leanne Hier said, “I can’t believe Roscoe has won the competition! He is a little star, Crufts here we come! We have been training him and he is taking to it very well, it’s great to bond with him too. We haven’t quite got him to do the washing-up yet but he can sit, roll over and sit pretty.
“The prize of the pet photo shoot is so lovely and we are really grateful. I’m glad we can do it when Roscoe is a puppy so we will have those pictures as memories for when he grows up – he grows by the day. I’m just really excited and totally thrilled.”
Graham Parker, of Ginger & Black Photography, said, “Roscoe is definitely a worthy winner, it’s great to be able to photograph a puppy and give the owners memories they can keep forever, it’s all absolutely lovely.
“From seeing him today, I am sure he will behave in the studio – I’m not worried! Over the last four years of taking photos of dogs, I have photographed just over 4,000, so I have a few poses up my sleeve that will guarantee lovely photos of Roscoe for Leanne and Nathan.”
