A FORMER BBC presenter turned comedian, who is in the running to be crowned the English Comedian of the Year, will be providing a belly full of laughs at this year’s Westbury Festival.
Comedian Nick Page, who once presented three series of the BBC’s daytime TV show ‘Escape to the Country’, has beaten over 300 comics to make the 2017 finals of the English Comedian of the Year, taking place in London on Tuesday 5th September.
Nick will be hoping to go one better than last year, when he was awarded the runner-up position in the same competition.
Fresh from competing, Nick will head to Westbury on Saturday 7th October, where he will headline the final act for the festival, ‘Comedy with a Bang(er)’ at the Laverton.
Hosted by the Submarine Comedy Club, audience members can expect lots of laughs over a plate of locally-sourced bangers and mash. Tickets cost £15 and include a meal.
There are over 50 events at the Westbury Festival that runs from Friday 22nd September until Saturday 7th October.
