ORGANISERS of the first two-day White Horse Festival thank supporters as they celebrated a successful bank-holiday weekend.
This year’s White Horse Festival spread over two days, instead of just one, as Westbury was filled with live music, activities and community spirit.
Shaun May, organiser and owner of White Horse Country Park, where the festival was held, said, “It’s been brilliant, the Saturday was better than expected! The Sunday started as a bit of a wash-out but it was just great that the people of Westbury came to support us.
“Not many events happen in Westbury so when they do, it’s really good that people come along and have a good time.”
The festival was in aid of three organisations this year raising vital funds. They were; The Nick Jones Foundation for Bereaved Children, Dorothy House and Westbury Rugby Club.
