A £500,000 refurbishment has been completed at Chantry Court in Westbury.
The renovations have significantly upgraded the Wi-Fi infrastructure, as well as the security, lighting, and building controls. This includes new door entry security systems, care assist systems, and a completely updated reception, lounge, and dining room.
At the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Mayor Jane Russ officially marked the completion of the refurbishment.
The retirement community has operated in the town for more than a decade and was acquired by Untold Living in 2022.
Since then, Untold Living has been operating a range of amenities for residents, including an on-site restaurant, library, hair salon, and a multi-purpose activity room.
Russell Jewell, CEO at Untold Living, said, “Untold Living aims to dispel the all-too-common myth that retirement living is boring and restrictive.
“By fostering vibrant communities with high-quality amenities, we provide residents with the freedom to live active, engaged lives.
“Our spaces – like the newly-upgraded on-site restaurant, activity rooms, and wellness facilities at Chantry Court – encourage social interaction and physical activity, helping residents stay both connected and independent.
“The investment in Chantry Court is part of our broader vision to ensure later life can be fulfilling, stimulating, and full of opportunities.”
Chantry Court leads a varied activities programme designed to foster community and connection among residents, which is increasingly important in later life.
The new renovations will allow it to expand this programme, reflecting Untold Living’s commitment to continuously improving the resident experience.
