The Anthony Wilson practice was established in1990 and has been at the fore front of complementary therapy ever since, having treated thousands of clients from age 3 to 94.
Having successfully wor-ked through many traumas in his life and bringing up a family virtually single handed, he is well placed to relate to everyday life and its challenges. He was trained for two years at the Association of Stress Management in Derby where he attained Fellowship status and then a further two years of counselling at Swansea University under the aegis of Newport University to certification standards. He no longer works under BAC rules. He was awarded one of the Top Ten Hypnotherapists of Britain by the Independent and the Hypnotherapy Association of which he continues as a member regularly using CPD.
Anthony uses the power of positive thinking as a major aid to overcome all problems and his enthusiasm for the strength and success of hypnosis is constantly apparent. However his greatest attribute is the advanced empathy he shows to each and every client as if they were unique.
Childhood problems are particularly rewarding and he is always delighted when a child can overcome their fears and worries and can look forward to a safe and secure future. He enjoys the challenge of phobias which are continually increasing and now number well over 300. Currently, PTSD is prevalent and Anthony’s immediacy can bring relief to the sufferers as the waiting time is so much shorter than the NHS.
Most of the sessions are recorded onto CDs so his clients can continue to practice using their PC, mobile or other devices. Always a free initial consultation is offered, together with complementary literature, as well as CBT if necessary. He welcomes client’s families or friends to attend and will provide an assessment of the anticipated % chance of success.
