Plus day tickets now also released for sale.
Two superb late additions have been added to the lineup of the Village Pump Folk Festival which takes places from 24th to 26th July at the White Horse Country Park in Westbury.
Legendary 1970s band The Strawbs – most famous for reaching number 2 in the charts with Part of the Union – and multi award-winning duo Megson will both be appearing.
Festival director John Alderslade said, “I am delighted to be able to announce today these additions to what has already been acclaimed as an excellent line-up.
“Dave Cousins, lead singer of the Strawbs, has promised our Pumpers a special show which will revel in the music of the band both acoustically and as they were in their full 70s prog folk-rockish, chart-topping, pomp!
“Megson meanwhile, will be bringing both their special show for families, aimed especially at the youngest children, as well as their normal show for adults. These additions underline how the Village Pump Folk Festival caters for the whole family in its core musical offerings.”
A limited number of Day Tickets are now released and on sale for the weekend festival, available to purchase direct from the website – www.villagepumpfolkfestival.co.uk
“We are pleased to announce that people only able to attend for one of the Festival days are now able to purchase day tickets,” added John. “These tickets are priced at £30/£15 for the Friday and at £65/£35 for the Saturday or Sunday of the event.
“Demand for tickets this year has been buoyant so those wishing to purchase Day Tickets are advised to do so as soon as possible. Weekend tickets for the event are now available at Tier 3 prices of £120 adult/£60 youth and £10 child.”
