Volunteers from four local villages gathered last month to mark the retirement of a valued member of the villages’ transport service.
Members from The Four Villages Link Scheme gathered on Thursday 18th September, to thank Angeline Nicholson for her eight years of service on the committee.
The Link Scheme is a voluntary group which offers transport and good neighbour services to people in the villages of Bratton, Edington, Erlestoke and Coulston.
Angeline was the lead coordinator for organising transport and other requests from clients in the four villages, and also undertook many other tasks, such as processing new volunteers and clients.
“The committee has struggled to cover all her jobs after her recent retirement!” said committee member, Catherine Elliott.
Angeline was presented with a bouquet and an engraved bowl by Chairperson Keith Rayward and Secretary Peter Sharland.
