Organisers of a traditional flower and handicraft show in Dilton Marsh are seeking new volunteers to help run the annual event.
The Dilton Marsh Flower and Handicraft Show is seeking a new chair and one or two committee members to help organise the 2027 event and ensure it continues in future years, after its current chair Angie announced plans to step down.
The show is now a subcommittee of Dilton Amateur Gardening Club, with treasurer Margaret and schedule coordinator Sonja already helping to run it.
Organisers are looking for someone who is organised, methodical and has some time to spare. A full handover and support will be provided for the incoming chair, and new committee members will help share the various tasks involved in running the show.
A spokesperson said, “Our village show is a wonderful local tradition, and we’d really like to see it continue for many years to come.”
“Every bit of help makes a difference, and together we can keep this lovely village tradition going!”
