A WESTBURY stylist and barber is one of the top 10 finalists of the National Student Barber Competition.
Axl Stone, who works at Fore Hair in Westbury, is currently on a course with the British Barbering Association. It was through this that he entered the style section of the competition – and he has made it through to the final 10.
Axl only started his course in September, and so found himself up against older and more experienced competitors.
Axl, 20, said, “My tutor says its fantastic and really good for my age.
“I think there were around 200 entries. I got a phone call to say I was in the top 10!”
Axl has been invited to the final in Cardiff on Sunday 12th May, where the winner will be announced.
