A WESTBURY stylist and barber has won first place in the British Barbers’ Association National Student Competition.
Axl Stone, who works at Fore Hair in Westbury, entered the style section of the competition and, as one of the final 10, travelled to the association’s show in Cardiff on Sunday 12th May. Despite being up against older and more experience competitors, he was announced as the winner.
He said, “It’s amazing, a really good feeling. I won a trophy which looks amazing, a certificate, £500, and a load of barbering equipment.
“Fore Hair were really happy as well, and really proud of me – they’ve supported me since I started there.”
Axl is currently on a course with the British Barbering Association.
