Wiltshire Police are appealing for information regarding an assault which took place Westbury.
At around 3.15pm on Friday 21st November, a 14 year old local girl was walking through the alleyway that leads from Frogmore Road to Gloucester Walk. She was struck to her face by a man causing her to fall to the ground. She was able to get up and run off to safety.
The man is described as approximately 6 foot tall and was dressed all in black, including a black balaclava and black gloves. Fortunately the victim was not seriously injured but was shaken by the incident.
Anyone who was in the area at the time or who has any information regarding this incident is asked to contact PC Cerys Powell at Trowbridge Police Station on 101. Alternatively call Crimestoppers 0800 555 111 where details may be left anonymously if preferred.
