THE Westbury Mayor’s charity calendar with photographs of ‘Wonderful Westbury’ is now available to buy and are selling well.
The calendar features photographs depicting familiar local scenes taking by local people.
The calendar costs £7 with all proceeds going to the mayor’s chosen charities, Carer Support Wiltshire and The Welfare of the Elderly. The calendars can be bought from the Laverton and the Heritage Centre on the High Street. They will also be on sale at the Christmas Street Fayre on 3rd December.
Cllr Andrews said, “I was highly delighted with the number of entries that I received for the calendar photography competition and the photographs make for a splendid calendar which meets my hopes that we could have photographs of familiar Westbury scenes taken from a different perspective. The range of subjects and the standard of those photographs was very high and made the job of judging for the panel very difficult.
“I would like to thank all those businesses in Westbury that have sponsored both the calendar and provided the prizes.”
