A book dealership specialising in vintage paperbacks and rare books has opened a new unit in Westbury.
To celebrate, it is holding a Vintage Bookfair at the new unit on Sunday 8th September, 11am-4pm, offering thousands of £1 sci-fi and mystery books along with a vast stock of thousands of used and new books, plus music on vinyl and CDs.
Zardoz Books, which has been trading for over 30 years, has opened the new unit on Mill Lane, Hawkeridge, which is open to the public and dealers alike.
The company has specialised in vintage paperbacks, particularly in the science fiction and mystery genres. However, the new unit broadens this range, offering a wide selection of books across various genres, including transport, military and history.
Run by Maurice Flanagan and his dedicated team, Zardoz Books has a storied history, including being featured in a Channel 4 documentary on internet entrepreneurs and hosting the UK Vintage Paperback Fair in London for over 20 years. Maurice has also published books and magazines about the world of books.
The unit, located at Unit 4, Mill Lane, Hawkeridge, Westbury, BA13 4LD, is generally open from 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. Visitors are encouraged to check in advance by emailing zardoz@blueyonder.co.uk or calling/texting 07863 560714.
