WESTBURY Lions are bringing the spirit of Christmas into homes this December with their exclusive Zoom video calls for local children with Santa – direct from his grotto!
Families can enjoy a live 10-minute conversation with Santa from the safety and comfort of their own homes.
Westbury Lions say, “We are not charging for this service for our community, although we would like to encourage participants to make a donation if possible, which will allow us to continue to maintain our charitable account and support future causes in the town and surrounding villages.”
Traditionally, Westbury Lions would assist Santa in touring the town’s neighbourhoods on their famous float – however, due to Covid-19 restrictions, the local group has instead decided to support Santa to work from home.
“Appointments are available until Wednesday 23rd December,” add the Lions “To book, visit the website: www.westburylions.org.uk/book-your-santa-zoom-appointment.
“Our booking system will prompt you to provide your children’s names and guidance regarding their plans for Christmas when you book your time slot, so that Santa can surprise them with his knowledge of a special fact or recent event that will let your children know he’s got them on his list. Please note that we require parents/ guardians to also be on the Zoom call so that Santa has an adult available to reassure and prompt children if necessary.”
