Year 6 children from Westbury Junior school successfully completed a sponsored walk to raise funds towards their annual residential trip.
The children set off from school first thing in the morning and walked the 8.5mile round trip up to the Westbury White Horse.
“The view at the top of the White Horse was wonderful and the children were able to pick out their school,” said teacher Mr Bodymore. “The children did really well to make it up. They were all very tired and ready for their beds when we got back!”
All monies fundraised went towards the cost of the coaches to take the children to their residential trip to Dorset.
