THIS year’s Westbury Transport and Vintage Gathering will take place this month and organisers are looking forward to a busy, exciting weekend.
The popular annual gathering will be held this year on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd April at Top Field, Westbury Road, Bratton. Organisers are encouraging people to get involved with this year’s event, and to come along and see the exhibits, or to bring their own classic vehicles along.
Organiser Keith Miller is hoping for a big crowd and good weather. Keith said, “We’re hoping the weather will be kind this year and bring people out to make it a great day. We pride ourselves on having a laid back event, where people can just turn up and enjoy themselves.”
There will be a wide range of exhibits at the gathering, and visitors will see many types of classic and vintage vehicles, including cars, fire engines, military vehicles, tractors, motorcycles, and agricultural and horticultural machinery to name just a few.
Admission is £2 for adults and free for children. Parking is free or you can use the number 87 bus, which runs through Trowbridge, Westbury, Bratton, and Devizes.
