TO celebrate their 10-year anniversary, local accountancy firm, Gooding Accounts – in partnership with Kingstons Estate Agents – are hosting a charity summer party to raise much needed funds for Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
The whole community are invited to join the fun and fundraising on the evening of Saturday 29th June at Trowbridge Rugby Club.
Gooding Accounts hope to raise at least £12,000, the amount it takes to run Wiltshire Air Ambulance’s entire operation every single day.
The evening includes live sets from fantastic local party band The Hammervilles plus a complimentary BBQ with food supplied by The Butcher Bros of Westbury. There’ll be a fun photo-booth from Amber Louise Photography to capture moments from the evening.
Gooding Accounts will also be joined by the Still Sisters, selling gin distilled right here in the west, and the fully stocked bar will be open from 7pm.
Gooding Accounts say, “Some of the team from Wiltshire Air Ambulance will be in attendance along with auctioneer Gordon Brockman from True Values who’ll host our charity auction boasting some great lots up for grabs! Every single penny raised will go towards supporting the fantastic work of Wiltshire Air Ambulance.”
In 2024, Wiltshire Air Ambulance will need to raise £4.5 million to continue its vital services across the county and Bath. The charity receives no regular funding from the government or National Lottery grants and relies on donations from the public and local businesses to fund the helicopter, crew and all of their support staff.
The highly specialised critical care team can reach anywhere in Wiltshire in 11 minutes and fly to the centre of Bath in just four minutes. This speed can literally mean the difference between life and death for a patient.
