HOPE for Tomorrow, who bring mobile cancer care units to the local population, including Westbury, have asked for people to continue to support them in these challenging times.
They say, “To all our fabulous supporters, we want to thank you for your continued support and ask for help! In this current global situation, times are hard for all, but especially small charities who rely heavily on supporter donations and events throughout the year to raise funds, but also our profile.
“Our mobile cancer care units are in even higher demand as we reach out to you. For cancer patients going through their treatment journey, units are one of the safest places for them to receive treatment and also we are keeping the hospital places free for the NHS to focus on the current emergency.
“So, we are asking for you all to kindly donate, share, retweet, spread the word for Hope for Tomorrow as we need to be able to sustain the service through this tough time and beyond.
“It costs £10 per patient per day, and £198 per day to keep the wheels turning on each unit Please continue to support in whatever way you can
“Thank you for your ongoing support. We wouldn’t be able to do what we do without your generous donations. To donate visit: https://hopefortomorrow.org.uk/donate.”
