Parent Support Adv-isers (PSAs) are now in post in Westbury.
Julia Tugwell and Wendy Case are based in Westbury and will support parents and their children by providing advice and information. The pair are employed by Kingsdown School, but will work in the Westbury area.
They will be able to help with concerns or worries parents may have with their child’s education, behaviour or attendance at school and provide parents with support on how best to deal with it.
Sarah Hopkins, extended services network co-ordinator for Warminster and Westbury said, “They are here because parents are the most important people in a child’s life and we all know that family life can be difficult and challenging for parents. The PSAs aim to support parents to enable them to do their best.”
If you would like to meet the PSAs they will be in Westbury on Saturday 28th November 10.00am – 2.00pm at The Paragon Hall.
As well as meeting the PSAs why not take this opportunity to gather information and advice from local service providers and also take part in some of the activities available. You will receive a free bag and may be lucky and win a prize in the free raffle.
Sarah said, “Julia, Wendy and the Warminster and Westbury Extended Services Team look forward to seeing you there.”
