IT was all fabulous frocks and dapper dinner jackets when the White Horse Country Park held their Charity Ball on Saturday 4th September.
Around 300 people attended the black tie ball, which raised an impressive £3,040 for Help for Heroes.
The venue was transformed into a glittering dancefloor, and revellers enjoyed music from a live band, dancing and a barbecue. There was also a silent auction and a chocolate fountain which went down a treat.
Organiser Rachael Hulin said, “The venue looked absolutely beautiful, very fancy, and people couldn’t believe how well it came up. It was very very well supported, over 300 people came and I think I could have gone on selling tickets!”
Everyone was keen to support the chosen charity, Help for Heroes. “This year I thought there’s so much going on, every day you hear something about it, and so I wanted to support them,” said Rachael. “I was chuffed to bits with how much we raised!”
Rachael would also like to thank all the local people and businesses who supported the event.
