WHITE Horse Country Park has been granted permission for a golf driving range at their park on the outskirts of Westbury.
The permission will enable the park to construct a golf driving range with 12 bays, as well as a good sized putting practice area and chipping area.
Derek Hulin, who owns the park alongside business partner Shaun May, said, “We’re over the moon. We’ve got a few conditions that we’ve got to sort out before we can go, but now we have the permission to actually get on.
“We are looking to start on it straight in the new year, so we can get it open towards the middle or end of the summer.”
The country park already has a 9 hole golf course, bowling green, fishing lake, and football pitches, as well as the Blue Circle bar.
