WESTBURY Lions Club have announced a new event for their calendar this year – a 10K fun run and additional sponsored walk in the picturesque countryside around Westbury.
The event will take place on Sunday 16th October, starting at 11.00am at the White Horse Country Park and ending back at the park. Please visit the Westbury Lions bookshop for an application form.
Families and those who wish to take in the scenery at a more leisurely pace can join in the shorter sponsored walk, which will set off after the runners have left. The sponsored walk will be in conjunction with the British Heart Foundation, and more details will follow.
Refreshments will be available throughout the day at the park.
