THE Christmas in Westbury celebrations will kick off with the switching on of the Christmas lights on Friday 25th November.
The event will run from 4.45pm-7.30pm in the High Street, with the grand light switch on at 6.00pm.
There will be plenty of entertainment available from children’s rides to choirs and music, while Father Christmas will be joining in the festivities.
The Christmas in Westbury programme will continue in the run up to Christmas with a busy and exciting programme of celebrations, events and activities. Details of all the events will be published in the “Christmas in Westbury” booklet, which will be distributed to homes in the local area this month.
Other highlights of the programme include the Street Event Day on Saturday 10th December in the High Street and town centre, with a skating rink, reindeer, fairground rides, inflatables, music, entertainments, hot food and drinks and an artisan Christmas market. All Saints Church’s Christmas Tree Festival will be open on the second and third weekend of December, while an outdoor carol concert will take place on Friday 16th December at 6pm.
