Leighton Recreation Centre has completed a major refurbishment of its gym in partnership with Wiltshire Council.
In addition to redecoration and new flooring it has benefited from the latest innovations in weights and resistance machines and CV equipment. The site has also had the latest TRX installed, a workout system that leverages gravity and your bodyweight to perform hundreds of exercises.
Keith Brunsden, general manager of Leighton Recreation Centre commented, “We are delighted with the refurbishments and look forward to the reaction of our members. Our fitness team and personal trainers are ready and waiting to support more people through 2015 to achieve their fitness goals, whether already active or those looking to get back to fitness through our Active Health programme.”
Leighton Recreation Centre is part of the Places for People Leisure Group who have completed a major refurbishment project across a number of gym sites in Wiltshire.
