DUE to increased demand Westbury Lions are extending the opening hours of their bookshop for a trial period.
From the 6th April, the bookshop will be opening from 10am until 1pm every Tuesday for the duration of the month to test interest from customers. These extra hours are in addition to their regular hours of 10am to 1pm, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Bookshop manager Lion Bill Braid explains, “We are often contacted by people looking to pop in and find a book to take away, but with our limited volunteers we are only able to open for a short space of time each week and it is a challenge for some customers to get to us.
“We hope by opening for the extra day we will be able to offer more access for locals looking for that bargain book!”
“Our book prices start from just 30p, and with almost 7,000 books in stock, there must be one for everybody!”
The Lions Bookshop is on Warminster Road, opposite HobbyBase Models.
