OVER 50 entries for the Mayor’s Christmas card competition were displayed at the Laverton last week – but the winner remains top secret until this weekend’s Christmas lights switch-on. The competition was open to all children aged 3-11 either attending school or living in the Westbury area. The winner will be announced this Saturday, 1st December, when they will help the Mayor to switch on the town’s Christmas lights. Their design will also be used as the Mayor’s Christmas card.
