A NEW reading group will start next week on Monday 16th March at Westbury Library called ‘Reading for Solace’.
The group will run fortnightly from 5.30-6.30pm.
Westbury Library says, “Reading can be a great source of comfort and solace when we are feeling alone, or have experienced a loss. Often we look to the words of others – in a poem or book – to make sense of how we feel. You are warmly invited to come to a friendly reading group, to share words which have touched you, or else enjoy listening to the words of others.
“Booking is essential, so please give your name to a member of staff at the library or call 01373 822294 and we look forward to seeing you.”
