Residents of Heywood and Hawkeridge parish have been raising funds for a play park for the village of Heywood.
Their latest event, a jumble sale, is being held on 5th October from 11am at Heywood and Hawkeridge Village Hall.
“We have been raising funds for just over five years now for a play park in Heywood,” said one of the residents. “We usually hold coffee mornings every month but we have added the jumble sale in as we have held several before and they have been very successful.”
Entry is £1 and open to all. “Please come along and give generously,” say organisers.
