NINE-year old Lilly Goodall, a pupil at Westbury Leigh Primary School, is having her hair cut this month to donate it to The Little Princess Trust.
The Little Princess Trust provides free real hair wigs to children and young people with hair loss, and funding vital research into childhood cancers.
Daniel Denaro, Lilly’s father said, “Lilly has decided, on her own, to donate her hair to the Little Princess Trust as she has felt totally inspired by them.
“She had originally set a target of £50 as well as giving her hair to the cause. However, after explaining to the adults closest to her, the donations are well over £50, which forced us to start a JustGiving page for her. We are extremely proud parents. She is beautiful inside and out and we will be supporting her with bake sales etc. We hope we can make a difference no matter how small.”
At the time of writing, Lilly’s fundraising page has hit £389, 778% up on her initial target. She is scheduled to have her hair cut on Thursday 28th November.
