ANOTHER of Westbury’s veteran retailers closed down last week after over 30 years in the town.
The family-run Clements, at 1 Haynes Road near the Labour Club, shut its doors for the final time last week after being set up by Brian and Karen Clements in the 1980s.
The shop provided shoe repair services and key cutting, as well as selling suitcases and leather goods. It was known for having a friendly atmosphere and loyal customer base.
Clements is the third long-standing town centre shop to have closed in the past 18 months, after 2014 saw both Linham’s butcher and Chantry Television vacate the town.
