MEMBERS of the Westbury Yarn Bombers have been busy decorating post boxes around the town in support of the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal.
Post boxes that have been yarn-bombed include; Westbury Leigh, Fell Road, Queens Road, and Tesco in Westbury Leigh (as well as two locations in Warminster).
Organisers say, “We have decorated a few post boxes in honour of the fallen and to raise money to support the important work that the Legion provides. Please donate if you can by scanning the QR code or visit: www.justgiving.com/fundraising/westbury-yarn-bombers
The group added, “We still have poppies to share as random acts of crochet kindness to raise money for the British Legion.”
