EXCITEMENT is building for the White Horse Festival which takes place this bank holiday weekend and it’s set to be a great weekend for the whole family.
The popular annual event which is hosted by the White Horse Country Park, will run from 12pm until late on Sunday 28th August and offers a host of entertainment from start to finish.
Festival organiser Hannah Bowden said, “Tickets are selling really well and everyone is talking about how excited they are – we can’t wait!”
The day is packed from start to finish with live music from eight local bands, such as The Leggomen and Train to Skaville, a whole host of stalls as well as train rides and inflatables. There will also be lots of free entertainment for children as well, including arts and crafts, a play area, sports and a visit from Tinkerbell and Rapunzel.

Then to keep you refreshed throughout the day, why not try local ciders and ales, enjoy a Sunday carvery from 12-2pm or a barbecue and hog roast.
Hannah continued, “We’re hoping for good weather but even if it’s not, it will a great weekend.”
Tickets can be brought in advanced until 5pm on Saturday 27th for £8 or on the door for £12.50. Children under 14 go free. Tickets can be bought from the bar at the country park, online at www.whitehorsecountrypark.co.uk or from Martin and Co in Leigh Park, Westbury.
