Westbury footballer, Nick Brisdon, is shining bright in the Junior Premier League (JPL) where he plays for Yeovil Town FC Under 15s, with a hope to play professionally one day.
Nick, 14, from Matravers School, plays for Yeovil Town’s JPL U15s team. Yeovil reached the playoffs by finishing top of their regional league playing against teams from Torquay United, Taunton, Wiltshire and the Dorset regional team.
Nick started playing football at the age of 7, initially for Westbury Youth and progressed to playing for the Bath & Wiltshire representative side, including playing in the World Youth Games in Gothenburg in 2015. He is now in his third season of playing for Yeovil’s JPL team.
Nick has been playing above his age group this season and has had a number of impressive performances showing his versatility by playing on both the left and right hand side of midfield and attack.
He has previously had interest from Swindon Town and Yeovil Town academies, but is currently taking one game at a time while he continues to pursue his dream of playing at the highest level possible.
