Claire Jones, the supremely talented Welsh harpist, is the longest serving Official Harpist to HRH The Prince of Wales.
She will be coming to Edington Priory Church for an evening of music and conversation on Saturday 14th May, starting at 7.30pm. This concert follows a hugely successful masterclass and concert tour of the United States, and precedes a number of high profile concert engagements at Festivals and concert halls over the summer.
This will be a rare chance not only to hear the classical harp played by a supremely talented international harpist, but to learn something of her story, from Pembrokeshire to Buckingham Place, including music played for the wedding reception of the newly married Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Claire will also be bringing a small 34 string lever or Celtic harp, to demonstrate the variety and heritage of harp music.
