TICKETS are selling well for this year’s Village Pump Folk Festival as eager fans snap them up far in advance of the ever-popular weekend.
The second batch of tickets is now on sale for the annual festival, which will be held at the White Horse Country Park from 22nd to 24th July this year.
Festival spokesman Clive Woodland said, “Tickets have been on sale since before Christmas and are selling well, even though none of the acts have been announced yet.
“The event itself has developed the kind of reputation where people know it’s going to be good, that the organisers are experienced and everyone will have a good time regardless of the weather as all of the performance areas are under cover. We’ve had a very good response from traders too. Of course, we’re all waiting to see who will be playing this year and I’m hoping to hear any time now who the main acts will be.”
The Village Pump Folk Festival has been held in Westbury since 2012 and last year’s event saw the fastest ticket sales since its move.
Tier two tickets, currently on sale, cost £109 for adults, £54 for youths (11-18), or £10 for a child (5-10). For more information or to book your tickets go to www.villagepumpfolkfestival.co.uk
